Put information technology up, air it out and maybe sparay som Febreze on the fabrics
I did the same to mine this wintertime. DW freaked when we opened information technology the first time. By the first outing the smell was gone and I accept not heard any comments from the DW. (well-nigh the mothballs anyway ;-) )

That smell all dissipates with fresh air ... only a matter of a little fourth dimension. Meliorate to accept that mothy brawl smell then some holes in your fabric and canvas!

The scent of moth assurance makes me retch. I think I would rather have rodents.

Anyway, moth balls repel moths, not mice.

The PO of my HTT LOADED it up with mothballs. The smell is in the foam of the mattress etc etc so it has been an issue for me.

The obvious -air information technology out-
We washed any of the curtains etc that we could (however smells .. a little less)
We fa breezed the cushions (Still smells ... a fiddling less)
I hung several numberless of damp-rid (absorbs wet and odor.. and has a strong ... more pleasant olfactory property) .... withal smells ... a little less
Someone here suggested pans of baking soda to absorb odor ... however smells ... a little less.
Someone here suggested a good smokey campfire ... that would exist better than mothballs, but I have non resorted to that yet.

I too am not yet washed with my battle... but information technology is getting MUCH better.

My frame is a C channel. Once stored for the winter I put moth balls in that channel all round the unabridged frame and none in the camper. Has always did the trick for me. I don't remove them, just bulldoze down the road and they fall out.

Merely open information technology upwardly and leave information technology open up a few days - smell does go abroad speedily with fresh air catamenia....

Shut their little legs [:D] , pitiful, I couldn't resist. Y'all might try a solution of modest amounts of vinegar mixed with water to spritz effectually the camper and over the cushions with a spray bottle. Then once again, what'southward worse, Moth ball smell or vinegar smell. I believe the only solution is air it out as much as you can and let mother nature practise the trick. Maybe even accept it open during a good pelting only brand sure to let it dry before closing it upward. A nice outing or two with a good bivouac going volition also help. I used to always honey opening our pup subsequently an outing and getting that little sense of campfire smell.

Moths too detest the smell of oranges.
Peel an orange and allow the peels to dry out for several days. Placing these peels in your drawers may go on moths away. Or use a orange potpourri.

Oranges, and salt. Cut oranges in half at the middle line (think along the equator, not the poles), squeeze a little to get juice flowing and to create a small crenel in the middle. Pour some table common salt in the cavity and all around the exposed fruit.

Identify anywhere you don't want rodents, mice, stinky smells... repeat.

It's super make clean, easy to do, and smells and so crawly. I love orangish. Also, mice/rats detest peppermint, raw and/or dried and/or oil type. Also smells fashion ameliorate than

erstwhile people moth balls.
